Ever wondered about the meaning of the word ‘calligraphy’? Surprisingly, this single word has multiple meanings. To put it in our words, it is a discipline which allows people to communicate their thoughts through beautiful symbols. Just by putting pen to paper, multitudinous ideas are brought to life. Calligraphy is a visual art which involves the formation, arrangement and execution of letters with any writing instrument like pen, ink brush etc. So, how exactly is calligraphy different from Handwriting? Handwriting is a part of our daily life communication while calligraphy, on the other hand, flourishes in the forms of Graffiti, graphic designs, font design & typography, inscriptions etc. Handwriting is simply well-performed penmanship while calligraphy is a relic which involves creation of beautiful and tangible ornamentally beautified letters which convey emotions.
Since calligraphy is not limited to only one particular style and learners want to learn different types of calligraphy styles, we have designed our calligraphy course plans in a way that they suit to the learning convenience & interests of calligraphy enthusiasts. We are offering this course in two different plans – Proficient and Distinguished. Both the plans are suitable for all age groups and no prior knowledge in calligraphy is required to take up these classes.
